Automation and robots are coming to the barber shop!

Hair washing robots already seem to be quite mature:

However, actual hair cutting seems to be a much more challenging task:

Though shaving seems to be more straight forward:

At least robot vacuum cleaners are already commercially available.

I do not think that people will completely disappear from the barber shop, but their role will change. Primarily they will be present to supervise their robots and ensure the safety of the clients.
